EP 56: Jami Nato

I’m excited to be back after a very long break with a new podcast episode for you. Today I’m chatting with Jami Nato; Social Media Entrepreneur Young Living Crown Diamond Public Speaker & Writer Coffee Shop Owner. A little bit more about Jami:

Jami is a wildly popular fitness model on Instagram. Ok, no… but she IS a serial entrepreneur and leader of a multi-million dollar business built on faith, community, authenticity & courage. Navigating life with her wonderful husband of 14yrs and 4 unruly children is her greatest love and challenge. She’s passionate about not doing laundry, hoarding socks, loves using humor, writing and honesty to convey the truth of the gospel. Sharing her own personal over comings with well timed, awkward humor helps her and her audience navigate through tough topics. While she continually plans for the future, she recognizes God’s role as The Ultimate Curator of her life.

A few things that we chatted about during our time;

  • infidelity and restoration in marriage.

  • being an entrepreneur.

  • being a person who cheers others on.

“Your children can’t be above God, and they can’t be above your spouse. There’s this order to things so that we can love God, and our people well and it spills out from that. Because we know what’s at stake. "

One of the ways that we’ve been able to pay off debt personally for our family is to diversify our income and have several streams of income come in at once.

EP 54: Expectations vs. Living Expectantly

Today’s episode is all about expectations. I’ve learned some hard lessons about the expectations of others. I had it backwards for a really long time.

I put a lot of hope and trust in others instead of my Creator.

God really began to work on my heart in this area, the area of expectations I had for others. I expected friends and relationships to fill a void only God could. Once I surrendered this everything changed. I hope you’ll listen to today’s episode with an honest heart and take it a little deeper and see where God would lead you after listening today.

He is the thing that sustains us.

He is how we live a life full of abundance.

What does it look like to live expectantly? Let’s read 2 Peter.

  • it means to lean into God.

  • to trust him.

  • to know that he has a plan for you and your life and he’ll bring it to fruition.

  • Phil. 4:19

EP 53: Hope and Encouragement in Times of Uncertainty

Some scriptures that I’ve been praying through during this time that have brought me comfort and peace.

2 Tim. 1: 7

  • For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

John 16:33

  • These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 14:27

  • Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

EP 51: Word of the Year 2020

Every year I choose a word. A word to focus the year on. A word to set my intentions. Today on the podcast I’m sharing with you my process and how I come up with my word each year.

My word for 2002: SLOW

While I can’t slow down time, I can quiet my heart and my soul and the intention of my heart.

Slow down, take a deep breath and notice God.

Don’t miss the miracle.
